I just use the /forums link to bypass it, but just to let you know; pressing "Skip Intro" rarely skips it before like 3-5 seconds of that Techno Crap has been played.
Partly due to the slowness of the website during somewhat peak hours.
Anyhow, yea; just use the /forums URL and you'll be better off =].
