No, the speed did not increase, just the rate at which the engine was working, I was not getting any power from it or anything, its like the engine was in in 4th or 5th gear *which it was* but also like it was working extremly hard, the only mod the engine I have is a CAI, the car has slightly under 87k, it's somewhat hard for me to explain what happened because I do not know really, the engine was much louder than normal, and even when I pulled over and had the car in neutral just idling it was at a higher rpm than a regular idle, way above what 1500 is normal? I wish I had a tach because then I might have had a better idea maybe, but thats all the info I can give, for the most part.
