I recently bought some goldline coilovers (springs only, no shocks) from a friend for $60. I figured I was getting a deal and she didn't need them. Are these good springs?

I am not sure how to install them. I am also not sure how to drop my car and how much to drop it. Will installing these lower my car? It is adjustable? I am pretty good at installations if I have a little direction. If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!
