heh that bass pedal is THE SHIT!! i had one of those for about 3 years with my pearl set. i would say with the fills try to drop in some different tempo things... like if you are doing 16th note fills most of the time drop in a quater note triplet one or something. i always love those big fat fills right on down the toms.

the guy does have alot of skills though.

basically just make sure you keep changing it up i love a drummer who has 6/7 different fills in a song woo woo

/edit perhaps listen to Rush drum solo or some led zep stuff... both those guys were big influences on me... or if you wanna go way back Mr Krupa and Mr Rich are :awais:
