Last time I recalled the 01-02 radio has no port.
Pull the headunit out and take a look, it's about a 5min job.

The 98-00 has a port that will work fine for you iPod.

Else you can buy an FM modulator to power your iPod.

I have a 98-00 I would gladly trade you in mint shape for your 01-02 radio.
