Most of the time, chips are too small for the brush that came with the touch up paint. Toothpicks sometimes are the perfect size for this kind of situations. I would also suggest purchasing a finer brush from a hobby store for those chips that are bigger for the toothpick, but still smaller for the brush that came with your paint.
