When properly tuned and used, nitrous is reliable. I would go personally with a dry kit at a 75 shot...that's what I have. You don't really need to do anything to prep, but retard your ignition timing and run one step colder spark plugs. I run NGK BKR7E plugs...one step colder than stock, and copper...you'll melt platinum on nitrous.
