the only problems I've ever heard of w/ ge sleeves were from improper installation... I've never heard of a problem with the ge race sleeves when installed by ge themselves... usually people either try to weld them in (thus ruining the heat-treatment process and causing them break or drop), or have them installed by a local shop. I would stand behind GE... the sleeves you buy from them are the same ones that support 1000+ hp in Gary Gardella's 8.4 second honda.
