I agree, I put a H22 in my EG coupe and people recommend using another throttle cable (forget which one at the moment) but I used the civics and it works fine... I just had to move the mounting bracket back on the TB but it works fine. The only thing I would worry about is if it is too short. As long as it reaches and is good and tight at the bracket so that it is not moving around, you will be fine.
