Power steering is totally unnecessary. The most you'll accomplish is slowing down the steering, adding a bunch of weight, and at low speeds, you still will have trouble turning. Trouble turning at low speeds comes from how wide your tires are, and the camber of the wheel. Do yourself a favor and try to only turn while rolling, and you won't have as big of an issue.
