Since I think a car of this size should be reasonably practical, I would go with the E500 4matic. It's luxurious, fast, looks expensive, and goes through snow. The LS430 and Q45 are freakin huge and more along the same size as the S-class. Makes more sense to compare the E500 to the 545i, A6 4.2 and GS430.
