to each there own. Obviously civics werent made for big rims, but why would companies make bigger sized rims for civics? why do people put 22" rims on Escalades? they aparently werent made for bigger rims. You are correct with the performance factor, so ill agree with you there.

FYI : there are plenty of 17" rims that weigh quite a bit less than 30lbs
