Hella has lamps with and without the "angel eye" rings that are the same size, but cost about 1/3 of the CATZ. Model 2500 for AE, model 1700 for plain (IIRC). I got my 2500s for $60.
What bulbs are in the hellas? Also did you just wire it directly to the normal wiring for the aux lights?
