heres the story. i have a set of 17's sitting in my garage right now but im waiting to put them on till i can get a good pair of springs or coilovers with shocks. i didn't want to throw the rims on and have the car sit high i wanted to drop it immediately but put the rims on first so i had an overview of how low to go. heres my question, im short of cash right now and wondering if i should just put some clamps on my springs to lower it until i've got the coilovers, would it be a waste of money on clamps and should i just wait till i have enough for some coils or springs?
