Unless you plan on actually analyzing the effects of increasing the pressure (i.e. on a dyno), I would spend the money on something else. A mild setup shouldn't need much, if any, more fuel, and a more heavily modded setup will require more than just a FPR for tuning. If you are set on playing with the fuel, then at the very least, you should purchase the FPR, a gauge, and some sort of fuel-tuning computer.
Going back to your original question though, the B&M has worked perfectly well on my brother's car.
