I recently bought an Integra Type R from a friend with 70,000 miles on the clock. Since I have had it which is since november I have replaced the slave and master cylinder and also the clutch which cured the problem i was having of getting the car into gear. I found out by replacing the clutch that a piece of metal was stuck between the pressure plate and the clutch plate so there was no need to really replace the clutch or master and slave cylinders, but i did it anyway. Since then car been fantastic (an animal infact) and i love it every bit. But i now have a similar problem again but mainly in third gear. on every journey i have problems getting it into third usually two attempts and its in gear this happens about 35% of the time i am changing into third. I have also noticed that today second gear did it a couple of times and at one point i couldn't get it in any gear. I was sat on my drive with the car in neutral with the engine started and if i gently eased it into third most of the time it wouldn't go into third if i quickly put it into third it would go in nearly all of the time. but when i ease it gently into third most of the time it doesn't go in so i would go back into neutral and let the clutch out and a clunking noise comes from the engine bay which doesn't make me feel good. I know its a tricky one but could please please please someone help me with any ideas or suggestions as i love my car very much. thanks :a:
