You NEED to have that fender insert in there man... you're drenching your filter with water. It will not allow the filter to filter like it's supposed to after a while and you're just sucking water...
I took the extension for the CAI off and put the filter on the top half in the engine bay in the mean time until i can replace the fender insert...
I'm just more worried to as if this will cause any permenant damage?
Yea my filter was just drenched like crap...
My fender insert had to be removed when an SUV side swipped me and took out my fender , bumper and door but i never bothered to get that part replaced..
