I don't care how much bulbs are or what kit I have to buy, what will be the brightest bluish HID in your opinions. thanks in advance for any help you guys can give!!!!:dunno:  :booty:
The absolute brightest you can and should get, is 4100k or 4300k (not sure which one it is...) This is what the bulbs on cars with factory HID are rated at. Some people have said, the only reason they look blue on vehicles like BMW and Audi, is because of the projector lens, and this is true. Otherwise the light is pure white, as you'll see on Lexus or Acura, but the bulb rating is exactly the same. The higher the color temperature you go, the less actual light output you'll have, though the light will be bluer. I recall driving on 101 in the early morning once (still very dark), and a Civic was coming up on me. I knew he had a HID kit, because of the amount of glare coming from his headlights. And the shade of blue was roughly that of an 8000k kit. When this guy passed me, it took me a second to realize my Osram Silverstar halogens were BRIGHTER than his HID kit. If you're going to spend hundreds on a kit...then make sure it will have actual usable light. Don't just do it for looks, it's not worth it.
