Now I understand what you're saying. And, you're right, it shouldn't be a huge concern, because it's not like I *need* to drop to 4th gear to run up to 100mph+ very often (if at all).

I think's its my overly auto obsessed mind acting up again.

Reno, I'll def. give a full update after I pick-up the GM Synchromesh in the system. (I stll need to know how much I need. Do you know if one bottle is sufficient?)

This is my only gripe with Hondas, their tranny's. Everything else can take the abuse, with the exception of the tranny. I'm not driving the car any differently then I've driven my previous German autos. Though, I do recall getting stuck on some ice in the car wash last week which required a lot of reverse to first rowing of the gear box. Perhaps I caused my own problems when I got stuck?
