Maxima 255HP @5800 RPM
246lbs @4400 RPM

Altima 240HP @5800 RPM
246lbs @4400 RPM

G35 260HP @6000 RPM
260lbs @4800 RPM

350z 287HP @6200 RPM
274lbs @4800 RPM

Those are the torque and hp figures for the different V6s in Nissan Cars. Now if you look at the Altima and the Maxima, how can a car with the same engine make the same peak torque at the same rpm, and have different peak hp amounts while at the same rpm?

And notice how the Z has 287hp, why not lie and just say 290 (matches NSX) or 285. Why make it an odd number? That shows that Nissan has tested their engines and Nissan has stated why and how the G35 and Z get their increased hp, but has never stated where the Altima's lost 15hp is at.
