You should have access to your gauges now. You want to just lay those gauges over top of them, don't pull the other ones off. Then just reinstall everything.

If it came with a dimmer switch and color change switch then you just run the switch through the back of the cluster down around your steering bar (i guess that's what it's called) and mount the switch somewhere convient. I dont know which wire, and where it's located, is your parking light wire.. but you'll want to splice the switch in with it and find a good ground spot for the other wire.

Hope this helps.

that only applies to 6th gen accords, he has a 5th gen from the look of his guages. sorry to tell you, but u WILL have to remove the whole center console. assuming you have basic wiring skills, i will just describe how to remove the center concole. first start with the armrest:

open the armrest and pop open the panel to remove the 2 screws.recline your seats all the way back and remove the 2 screws on the outside of the armrest. remove the cupholder and remove the 3 screws. pull out armrest.

you'll see 2 screws on the bottom of the black console panel near the ebrake/cupholder area now that you have removed the armrest. take them out and theres one more behind the cigarette lighter. pull console panel out.

now it gets complicated, on the drivers side, pull the change coin out and remove the screw and pull that panel out. on the passengers side, pop off the 2 black tabs on the side of the glovebox and unhook the black mini compressor thing, and the it should just fall down, it wont detach it, but it will swing all the way down.

look at the sides of the areas you just took out, theres some screws that hold the remaining center console on, i forget where they are but its obvious. when your done pull everything out, inclufding the radio.

look under the center console area, right under the climate controls, there are 2 screws that hold the black climate contorl panel on. TAKE THEM OUT, all of your work so far was just to access these 2 screws!

pry out your cruise/moonroof, dimmer, and reaer defogger switches. there are screws behind the rear defogger and cruise/moonroof switches. look under the area of the cluster and there are the last 2 screws. swing the whole black climate panel out to the passenger side, u might have to jiggle it a bit but it will come out and it might help if u lower your steering wheel all the way down. detach the climate wiring clip but dont touch the black cable that runs to it. just let the whole console sit on the passenger area.

congratulations! you now have access to the actual cluster. theres only 4 bolts holding it in.

now lets see if you can remember where all of the screws you've taken out belong. i bet u'll have at least 5 "extra" screws after putting everything back in.
