I've been known to drop down a gear or two on the highway below 80mph. Actually I'm going to try
GM Synchromesh (tranny fluid) since it's received more than a few rave reviews on HAN and H-T.
HOPEFULLY that will clear up this minor problem. When I'm normally driving, no problems, it's only when I downshift above 75mph and then put it back into 5th that I notice the grind.
