hey everyone, i am planning to upgrade my suspension on my 1998 v6 accord coupe. i am confused to some extent on what is what?

for instance, can someone define what is a strut and shock? do i need both? how do they work together, and what exactly do i need to buy(shocks, struts, springs, camber kit?) to upgrade my whole suspension? and as for the adjustable shock, how would we adjust them and is it difficult to adjust them(do i have to raise my car up to adjust them?)
