Now I don't really know what's causing it, but I do know it might have something to do with the fitment. When it was on the car, the hood was sitting a little closer to the driver side fender (the gap was pretty big on the passenger side) and the passenger side of the hood sat a little higher.
I don't know if the hood's in contact of something that would shake horrendously or it's because of the fact that the hood is so light that it's supposed to shake or I just have a really bad running car. But it is kinda embarassing to be at a stoplight and see my carbon fiber hood shake it like a polaroid picture. You guys have any ideas how to remedy this (I'm guessing pins would be one idea, but I'm looking for other suggestions besides that).
Thanks.
Which brand hood do you have? I used to have that problem, but after I installed eyelids, the hood sits more flush and kind of pad's the hood.
You might want to try the rubber seal (that goes on the factory hood) and that might absorb some vibration as well.
