Why in the hell would we ever try and get away from Britian? Our ancestors started their own revolution, and thats why we have the freedom we are so unappreciative for. :nono:
Now we are helping others obtain their own freedom. Doesn't happen overnight, but you'll see a big change in 10 yrs when you look back on it.
Revolutions come in their own due time. We had ours. The French had thiers. When the Iraqis have had enough of Saddam, they will revolt. It's not our place to fight other peoples wars. It's a waste of troops, a waste of life, a waste of money and resources. Bush shouldve paid for this with the money his oil buddies are making out of it in the end.
