Two years ago, with my 98 GS-R sedan, I was in a collision with a red-light runner. Messed up the entire front end, including both left and right front panels, but the car was still running, air bags not deployed, doors OK, no windshield crackage.

Total repair bill was between $10-12k.

You have a little more damage: air bags, windshield. Not sure if that would push you over the fix vs. totaled line, with a slightly newer 2001 GS-R.

Interestingly, at first I wanted my car to be totaled, so I could apply the money to a new car. Only cars I considered were the WRX and the Evo. I was really, really glad when I learned I would have my car back.
