Because it is way too small in displacement, with too narrow a bore and has bad valve geometry amoung other things.
IMHO, the B16A is too small to bother with either.
How would you feel when you spend a couple good years and thousands of dollars to build the dinky little D, and still get walked on by bolt-on turbo B's?
