i signed up for their free webhosting which gives like 500mb of storage and whatnot and.....i tried to ftp to the website and i dont know how to do it

i guess theres a problem with username/password and i cant do anything but use their "website creator". i know you can ftp to it because a lot of people use 1and1.com for hosting phpBB and forums etc...
