We'll just have to wait and see which (Mercedes or BMW) they are gunning for. I hope they're gunning for both. The ES330 is definitely their luxury entry level and their IS300 is their sport entry level. If they develope both vehicle to give it broader range, then I say they're gunning for both. Unlike the Benz, they do have manual in some of their vehicle, so they're not so bad. Also, they're not the only one who will have RWD and AWD in all of their vehicles, Infiniti is already on their way to that. They stated that the next M35/45 will have AWD option as well. So the only one left is the G35c and the Q45. They also stated all their vehicle will have AWD option, so I think Infiniti is closer to chieving that goal than Lexus. But a performance devision is definitely a big plus for Lexus.
