So Toyota is giving the Lexus division a dose of Viagra, eh? They wouldn't be in the position of having to do something now if they had just offered more performance oriented option packages on their GS and IS series to begin with. To begin with, every car in their lineup except the LS430 should have a true manual available (or it's just not a performance car). And tighter suspension tunings, lower profile tire and rim packages, and minimal decal/body cladding are also required. We'll see if this solves their perception of being soft, or the Buick of Japan.
