If you're going turbo down the road, the dumbest thing you can do right now is try to cut corners.
Anytimes you replace pistons you should make absolutely sure that the bore matches the piston going in for clearance issues [same goes for rings]. If you don't, you might scuff the bore, or you might get piston slap. Either way spells bad mojo for your block.
