Brake lines are not necessary but will certainly give your braking more precision. Especially in the summer when the rubber brake lines get hot and tend to flex a lot more. For anyone that wants to upgrade their brakes SS brake lines is the first thing to do. A M/C brace is nice to have but is the last thing to upgrade.
