Just for the sake of clarity... a
centrifugal supercharger will tend to produce more power in the top end, whereas a Roots or Eaton-type "blower" (think JRSC) will be more inclined to help power production in the low and mid-range areas.
In any FI application, SC or Turbo, the efficiency of the cylinder head, the static CR and the cam profiles must be considered. While the stock B18B cams have less overlap than the B18C1 or B18C5 cams (duh), there is still the issue of the efficiency of the the head design and exhaust, what forms of Intercooling are used, total boost pressure, etc.
All in all, there a heck of a lot of variables, and I'm beginning to lose my train of thought.
