You don't have to wire it into the fusebox, you can probably tap into your cig lighter. I tapped mine behind the head unit (aftermarket head unit), tapped the ground wire on the harness and then the power as well. The direct wire kit comes with self-tapping connector which just simply clamps onto the power wire, it's really neat. I'll take pics soon. I ran it under the steering column, up the fuse box, up the a pillar, then ran it above the headliner next to my rearview. I also put the little SmartButton thingy that flashes underneath the head unit in the little pocket. It was a fairly easy install. I'll be sure to post pics later on.
