Some cars that have low miles on them, yet are old themselves have more issues than newer cars with high miles on them. I personally feel it's worse to let a car sit in a garage than to drive it and beat it a little. You will probably need new brakes(rotors rusted completely from sitting inside or out), tires, shocks, hoses, belts, plugs, wires, and the intake maybe all "varnished" up from old gas. Personally, I would take a long hard look at it.
