I think chips are dumb. How can they know what all you have done and work well with every combination of mods? They can't.

The Hondata is programmable so you can change settings based on how your car is running.

My buddy was telling me about a book he just bought. Something like the Honda Tuning Handbook (or something like that). The author challenged ALL chip manufacturers to come to his shop and produce their claimed HP results on his dyno. Said he'd drop them $1000 if they could; if they couldn't, he gets $1000 and they pay for the dyno time. He hasn't had any takers. h:

NonProgrammable chips are whack.
