you can use dexron III or get honda ATF from the dealer.

now for the drain plug..turn your steering wheel to the right, now go to the passenger side you should see a bolt at the bottom of the case to the tranny, you remove with a ratchet and an extension, you don't need a socket. you refill through the dip stick, which is short and down low on the backside of the tranny.
