minor point, but just for everyone's info, the number at the end of an engine code has something to do with export codes or somethin. america is a 1, 3, or 5 (b18c1, b18c5, b20a3 [carbed usdm 3rd gen lude motor], etc.). australia i believe is a 7 (b20a7 if you know your old school lude motors). and japan has no number. thats why all jdm motors are just b18c, b18b, etc.
also, the d16 is a good engine. not as good as any b-series, but for the money you spend on ANY b-series (unless you find a smokin deal) you can get a turbo on the d16 and be runnig faster than the b would stock (even with minimal boost like 5-8 psi). however, b-series swaps are just cool (more so than a turbo imo).
