I've been looking at them and they don't appear too expensive. I understand that I'm never going to have a super fast car from that Accord without major modifications (mainly engine swap.) In all reality, what's the VTEC controller going to do for me, instinctively I'd probably end up setting it at like 3K RPM and hurting something during a run.

I'll be completely honest here, I'm pretty new to this whole car hobby and I don't know a whole lot about how cars work. I just happened to have a little bit of money over Christmas and plenty of willing friends to help me install the gear I listed above. Obviously, I'm a teenager (about to be twenty) and I don't think I can handle N2O, at least not yet and not in my first real vehicle. A super/turbo is out of the question because of sheer cost, same with the standalone engine system. I'm considering an exhaust system, I haven't yet decided but I think I'm leaning towards the GReddy Evo. I don't want a 'ricey' sound at low RPM/normal driving, but I want it made evident when I slam it to the floor that I bought a quality system.
