BTW, here's an easy way to wire up the signal wire too. If you look on top of the drivers side harness plugs, there a small 1 wire plug that's usually taped to the top of the in-car harness. It's a diagnostic port for hooking a tach up inside the engine way to check idle and whatnot. I just cut the plug off and connected the tach's wire (I think green but check the paperwork) to that after running it through the firewall. I ran the other wires through the vent in the top of the dash and down to where the old lower console used to be. I had removed most of the interior from my car, so I just cut off the plug for the stock cigarete lighter (the acutally port was removed with the interior panel) and wired everything to that. I ran the light's power through a little $2 switch from radio shack so I could turn the tach's light on and off independant of the stock dash lights (at night the tach disappeared if the swtich wasn't on).
