I beg to differ. Drinking and Driving is the stupidest thing you can do in your car.

But about the whole controlled enviornment thing, there is a city in Japan (can't remeber the name) that has a street that is closed down from 1am-3am every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night soley for the purpose of street racing.

Similarly, here in Athens....a few friends and myself go to the back of the University Mall (the "big" mall around here) to race at usually 12 midnight. The mall closes at 9, so everybody is long gone. It's a little longer than 1/8 mile. We just set up cones we keep in my friend's truck across the entrances to the back so nobody drives in, and thats where we race.

We started doing this in honor of a friend who was seriously hurt in a racing accident on a public road (read: he's in a wheelchair now).

Besides, i can't afford to be competitive at a legal track. Neither am i saying street racing is a good thing. I know its a bad idea, and there are a lot of shitty drivers out there, but hey, i guess thats why my life isin't worth anything, eh, axemansean? I want that quote from you on my epitaph.
