A Mazda RX-7 won the race in 1992, 1993 and 1994. So then Mazda decided to make an RX-7 Type R Bathurst R.





I wonder if I like this more than the Spirit-R Type A. The Spirit-R Type A has red stitching on all the leather interior bits, red suede Recaros and BBS RGR wheels. But the Bathurst R has real CF interior panels, Mazdaspeed shift knob and ebrake handle, and Mazdaspeed coilovers. Oh, choices choices...too bad only 500 of each was ever made. Sigh.
