Ok, Remove the over over the shifter, you will see all the "gutts" under the shifter. There is a little white "box" with al the wires running to it, remove the screws and the box and you will see a little spring with a berring , spray break cleaner on the spring and clean it off, reinstall.
The spring gets gunk in it and then ti wont make contact tellign the car it's in park (inticator light on dash) and it wont release the key.

Problem fixed.
