Why would you even bother unless you like hunting around for parts to save a buck. Just buy the whole motor from a reputable place like hmotorsonline. That way when you get it, you know it will start.

Now if you want an LS/Vtec or some other Frankenstein-brid then it would make since to part around and build from scratch. Even if you want to rebuild a motor, just buy the whole thing then tear it down and build it up from scratch.
