Im assuming that we're talking about the cable closest to the firewall, right? I checked both yesterday and the one farthest from the firewall (with the black plastic piece around the linkage) attaches to the cruise control. I dont want to adjust that one, correct?

I adjusted the one that doesnt attach to the cruise. But the cruise one still has a ton of slack in it.
