DIY: Red/Clear Tailights
First, I found a set of all clear hatchback taillights (ebay) and after I got them I went to Wal-Mart in the model car section and got 3 cans of Testors transparent candy apple spray paint. I masked off the top part of the taillight and cleaned the part that I was going to be painting with alcohol, then I sprayed like 6 THIN coats of it on them (you might need more coats depends on how dark they come out), Let Each coat dry before you apply another coat, and that’s it. Let them dry and put them in and take the car out at night to check it they light up red or pink...If pink it means you need more coats of paint. Good Luck...

P.S You do not have to sand anything,or use clearcoat. just make sure the tail lights are very clean before you paint!
