the old distributor went out on me. i dont know man...i got act stage 3 clutch in there and i didnt resurface my flywheel when putting it in and it always made this annoying heat shield noise when i got up to 2600-2700 rpms. well when i got off of work and drove home the heat shield noise disapeared..strange huh? so it gives me this feeling its something with the tranny. but ill try what u said and keep you up to date..thanks
