1. new clutches will be tighter because the fulcrum on the pressure plate with a new disc is different than the old one.

2. the clutch hight isnt a huge deal. put it somewhere comfortable, but make sure it will fully disengage.

3. yes. you should break in your clutch for 500-700 miles. just drive normal. that means no clutch dumps or hard shifting. but freeway driving wont hurt it at all.
