OK, this sorta goes along with my previous clicking solenoid thread, but its a separate issue:

If at idle, I "goose" the gas pedal (dont poke fun for saying that!!), as in I tap it after its been at idle for 30 seconds or so, I get a brief period of the engine almost trying to die (as evident by the fact that the interior and headlights dim, almost like its trying to stall). At the same time, I hear a sucking noise, almost like an air leak, coming from the rear (closest to firewall) part of the engine......and it seems more on the side of the accessories. After that brief period, the engine almost seems to "catch up" to itself, and the RPMs go up.

I dont think this is normal, or at least I dont remember it. My car seems like its not performing well while driving, but Im not sure if this just occurs at idle or it ends up thru the whole powerband and I just cant feel/hear it while driving.
