Simple fix....right click over the CD-Rom drive and select eject :doh:
If that doesn't work then use the button on the fron t of the CD drive.:doh:x2
If that doesn't work then you may have to find the emergency eject button on the drive:doh:x3
That actually happened on my gf's Gateway. First the computer wouldn't eject the disc, and the button didn't work, so I rebooted and then it didn't recognize the drive anymore. Would have reinstalled the driver except it's on CD, so I opened up the computer, unplugged the IDE cable, plugged it back in, started it up and then it recognized the drive again. :wtf::dunno: It does that from time to time.
